Snow day!

We got enough snow on Tuesday night that they cancelled school on Wednesday...which means I got to stay home with Devin! We stayed in our pajamas all day, played, and drank hot chocolate with marshmallows (okay, so Mommy drank hot chocolate and Devin drank his regular old formula...next winter he can have hot chocolate on snow days, too!). The only thing that would have made in an even better day was if Tye had gotten snowed in, too, but that rarely happens. He has to work in some pretty awful weather sometimes!

Anyway, here are some pictures from our snow day together. Oh, and the pictures where Devin is sitting in the green chair are from the night before when he was playing with Tye. And yes, you'll notice that he has drool running in rivers out of his mouth and onto his shirt in almost every picture...that's how he always looks now!! We try to keep it wiped off, but it's a neverending battle that we rarely win! :)

Oh yes...the drooling stage. I remember thinking it would never end! Almost every photo of Benjamin from about 5 months until he was well over a year old has him covered in a bib! Just fyi..sometimes babies get a little redness or rash around their mouths and cheeks from getting drool wiped off. If that happens to Devin try putting a little vaseline or A&D ointment to protect his skin! Now..be on the lookout for those tiny little teeth to start coming in!

Ahh, the drooling! I used to carry at least 3 burp cloths with us when we went anywhere. Emily drooled so much when she'd get teeth that she'd drench a burp cloth in no time flat!

He's such a cutie! :)
