Growing up too quickly!

Okay, so I know it's been awhile since I've last posted (and I know I say that every time!) but it turns out that being a working mom to two boys (and a husband!) is REALLY time- and energy-consuming! To compensate for my lack of recent posts I'm putting gobs of pictures on this one. Enjoy!

Devin was a penguin for Halloween and Levi was a duckling. Devin waddles when he walks anyway which complimented his costume perfectly! :)

Devin was puckering up to give Levi a kiss! He's finally started to take an interest in Levi as a person rather than just an object. He also tries to pick him up and carry him which is hilarious because Levi is only a few inches and few pounds smaller than Devin!

The boys with their grandparents and cousins Logan and Carter.

Up and ready to go to Angela's (the babysitter) at 6:30 in the morning! Sometimes I send them both in their pajamas since ist's so early and cold when we leave.

Devin looks like the kid from "A Christmas Story" in this picture! He thinks his coats are hilarous...and when he has one on he waddles around even worse than when he doesn't have a coat on!

My backseat...too funny!

The pumpkin patch!

He's going to KILL me for this one of these days but it's just too funny to resist posting! He doesn't do this often, but this was the first time he "discovered" how to pick his nose...and he was quite intrigued by it!

Getting ready for a bath...he's so roly poly!

He have a hundred bazillion toys but Devin likes to play with empty boxes! That's okay because at least he's using his imagination!

Tye has been doing LOTS of renovations on our house over the past couple of months, and Devin decided that he would be the perfect helper! However, he would rather try to eat nails and hammer the new bamboo floors than actually help, so his time spent "helping" Daddy was limited. :)

What was my husband THINKING when he decided to (literally) tear out walls and floors with a toddler and a baby?!?! I have to give him credit, though, because now that it's almost completely done it looks great. Devin also approves, because now that we have ceramic tile and bamboo floors in 4 (soon to be 5) rooms he has lots more room to drive his cars, trucks, and tractors!

This was before Devin really cared to hold Levi...in fact, he would just shove him off of his lap if we sat Levi there! :) Levi is so tolerant of Devin...for now. :)

Devin still loves eating, but he's getting pickier. Here he's eating chicken, which he's always loved before, but apparently not on the day this picture was taken!

My boys playing together...as much as they can at this age, anyway! Levi LOVES to just watch Devin play and I can't wait until they can actually interact!

One of my biggest goals as a mother is to instill a love of reading into my kids, and this picture makes me so proud! He honestly does love reading, and will bring you a book and climb up into your lap to listen...for at least a few minutes. Although he has discovered that just pulling 10,000 books off of the shelf or out of the reading baskets without actually reading them is fun, too!

Levi was more serious--okay, and cranky--for the first couple of months of his life, but now he's just happy-go-lucky!

Levi's first cereal...he was a bit cynical to begin with, but by the end he loved it! :)

This boy loves his tractors...and he even tries to ride them!

We had to buy this toy bin AND three new huge toy buckets after Devin's birthday because he got so many more toys!

Peekaboo! :)

These are the best pictures I've seen in awhile...! I love their costumes. Sebastian said, "they are so funny."

By the way, the house is looking great! Must be nice to have some open space for the boys...
